A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a principal highway engineer for its Essex based offices. The company has an extensive portfolio of highway projects within the UK working for both local authorities and major contracting organisations.
Applicants will be expected to have a relevant professional qualification and at least 10 years experience. You will have full responsibility for interpreting, organising and executing major assignments including fee control, technical direction and client liaison.
Successful candidates will be flexible team players with a positive attitude and an ability to manage and prioritise workload. Good inter personal skills are required of candidates who will be expected to take on board team management responsibilities and motivate staff.
Good opportunities exist for career progression to senior management positions over the next few years, for candidates who exhibit leadership potential.
